An “Easter Basket” of Bible Teaching

Looking for inspiration for Holy Week—Palm Sunday Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter? Here are some suggested links to articles and audio on Parbar Westward:

• All nature—and the daffodil in particular—declares the glory of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Read Isaiah Reid’s Daffodil Days.
• What were Jesus’ last words on the Cross and why were they important? Listen as Jim Kerwin shares about The Seven Words from the Cross.
• In the Northern Hemisphere, the celebration of Easter closely coincides with Spring.  In The Passing of the Frost: An Easter Meditation Isaiah Reid beholds nature's resurrection and unfolds the spiritual truth of new life.
• Is there an overlooked part of the Easter story? Little attention is given to the “Bible studies” Jesus shared on Resurrection evening. Although a bit speculative, it seems quite possible that part of what Jesus shared when He opened up the Scriptures to the disciples was about The Angel of the Lord.
